Watch your child’s confidence and reading bloom together

Tutoring that meets your child exactly where they are — and helps them grow from stuck and frustrated to reading because they love it.

What makes Blooming Reading different

Start from any level

Whether your child is just beginning, years behind, navigating dyslexia or other learning disabilities, our program meets them exactly where they are.

Research based

Powered by JoyFully Read!, an award-winning program with over 25 years of documented success helping people of all backgrounds and ages become confident readers.

Continuous improvement

Every six weeks, our tutors assess progress and adjust the plan so sessions can stay focused on what matters most and your child keeps moving forward.

Tutoring the way it should be

One tutor. One child. One journey.

Your child works with the same tutor every session. We believe that relationship helps students build trust and gives our tutor all the context they need to help your child succeed!

In-person or online

We offer in-person tutoring for students in Southern Utah County and online. Whether your student is most comfortable learning from a center or the comfort of home, our tutors are trained to work with what is best for them.

Flexible funding

We are an approved vendor through Harmony Educational Services, Utah Education Fits All, and the Children First Education Fund. Also, we don’t believe in locking you into contracts, so we operate on a month-to-month basis.

Here’s exactly what to expect

  • Meet with Liza to find out exactly where your child is. Our assessment helps us understand their current reading level and any knowledge gaps, so we can build a plan that's tailored just for them.

  • We'll find a time that works for your family. Sessions are always 45 minutes twice a week. They are typically held Mondays & Wednesdays or Tuesdays & Thursdays. We offer in-person sessions in Santaquin, UT or Payson, UT or online from wherever you are.

  • Your child will receive a student kit matched to their level, including a workbook, cards, and small books.

  • Your child works one-on-one with their dedicated tutor every session, the same tutor, every time. Progress is tracked every six weeks so your tutor can adjust the plan and keep your child moving forward.

  • Students are expected to move up at least one grade level every six weeks. Whether your child's goal is to catch up, keep up, or fall in love with reading, we're with them the whole way.
